Food industry optimism suggests long-term investment opportunity

New York, May 14, 2016. Quoted financial analysts are have been increasingly positive on the food and beverage industry and see more strong performance ahead, suggesting the industry is suitable for investor entry and long-term holding of stocks, according to new research from Media Tenor International.

“There are global opportunities in the food industry according to quoted financial analysts,” says Racheline Maltese, a researcher at Media Tenor. “Sentiment is strongly positive in a range of markets thanks in part to attention from analysts based in multiple regions. Even in India, where regulatory concerns have impacted Nestle and Unilever in the past, risk is relatively well-contained and the sector is actively covered.”

Sentiment for the industry was positive on most key factors, according to Media Tenor’s research, and quoted analysts regularly offered buy ratings which were supported by the overall media sentiment. Management was well-received.

This research examined all 75,881 analyst statements in eight opinion-leading business media January 1, 2015 – May 12, 2016.
